Hi, New World!

The entry to my office building, normally filled with students, lies empty.

I've been toying around with the idea of a blog for a little while.  A few weeks ago--pre pandemic, I came up with the title Twinty Twinty Vision out of nowhere.  The name plays off the fact I'm the mother of eight-year-old twin boys in the year 2020.  More importantly, though, I wanted to focus on the idea of 20/20 vision and the idea that it's impossible when it comes to life, but we often hold ourselves to a standard of perfection. 

And now the world is on lockdown.  The idea of reflecting daily on life and what matters to us as a family (and a world) is even more important to me.

I don't have answers, and I'm struggling myself with the uncertainty of it all.  But given the circumstances, this seems as good a way as any to connect with others, share what I'm thinking, and document life as we make our way through this uncertain world.
